Port Fairy Angling Club held its annual presentation awards function last Sunday at the Surf Club (July 16, 2006) at the surf club.
Special guest for the day was Cr Frank Norton from the Moyne Shire. Angling Club President Matthew Dalton welcomed everyone along including visiting angling club members from Portland and Koroit.
Before the presentations Cr Norton welcomed everybody and said that over many years of fishing he had not landed a decent fish. He commented on the way the club was a quiet achiever of the town, running popular junior fishing clinics, competitions and community activities through the local area.
